We are looking for an awesome addition to our team! Now that we’re open at full capacity, we are accepting applications for a full time, experienced Stylist.

Applicants should be committed to their craft, independent, and thrive in a clean clean environment! We are looking for someone that truly wants to be their own boss and work with others.

At Bella Cheri Salon, you’ll find a very close group of like-minded, very experienced Stylists. We all enjoy what we do and have a great time working together. We are very respectful of each other’s things, we clean up after ourselves and each other if we can tell they need the help! We are supportive and engaging with each other’s guests. We take COVID seriously and we respect each other’s expectations for mitigation. We are excited to invite another Stylist into our Salon!

Sadly, we have received news that we must close for a period of at least two weeks (3/17-3/31). To all of our guests that have reached out, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your concern and compassion during this event. I never realized how important it was to me to facilitate an environment where women can realize their dreams of working for themselves. No parent ever really *wants* to bring their kiddo to work. But sometimes it’s necessary and I’m so glad I work somewhere that we all understand it’s not ideal but it’s part of life and we’re all here for each other! It takes a village and this is the best village EVER!

On I got to hang out with three of my favorites! And then Bri goes and writes the sweetest thing ever 😩 (so I had to share it, obviously) I am so lucky to be surrounded by these guys who support and uplift me every day! I’m reminded again and again that I chose the right salon 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️

FILTERED VS REALITY. It’s important for stylists and clients to know about filters and the effects they have on hair. Filters are the latest trend influencers and some hair stylists are using to edit their photos. Filters are beautiful but not REAL. Filtered photos of hair are usually not realistic. You might be in love with the filter more than you are the real hair. Look how I used a filter adjusted the blonde in this photo. It’s a gorgeous picture and one that I’m sure would bring in a ton of engagement but I would be lying about the work and my ability if I posted it.

Clients: be aware of this when choosing your inspiration photos to bring to a stylist. I find myself saying, “well, that girl’s hair doesn’t even look like that in reality” far too often. Try to pick unfiltered photos for your inspiration shots. You can usually click on the models tagged photos and find some unfiltered shots.
Stylists- stop comparing yourself and your work to all of these filtered photos. It’s time we educate our clients on what these filters are doing and be realistic on what is achievable ❤️

Hi everyone, it is my SIX MONTH anniversary of being a small business owner on February 9th! Thank you guys so much for being the most supportive clients with the new and great venture!
When I moved salons into Issaquah I kept all of my prices the same to make this transition as easy as possible for my clients and myself. Starting on February 9th, 2018 I will be adjusting some my prices slightly. There are a couple of reasons for this - the main one being all of us girls in the salon are adjusting our prices to be a more cohesive salon unit. The other being a six month small business owner, I have a much better understanding of the cost to operate my business. I will honor existing pricing for those currently booked.
