Night vision in color on this camera, some people do not realize that up until a couple of years ago most cameras were all traditional black n white when night vision came on. This camera not only sees in color, but the night vision is better quality too 👍

In the 20 + years I’ve been working on Burg alarms this one we came up on has got to be in the top ten. The Tech who did this told the sweet elder lady, when she asked why it looked like that, said it’s just better that way. Lol 😂

Having some fun working in the hospital 😄

Got a praise report from one of our commercial customers today, a hospital. We had a rush job, ran wire and installed 12 cameras in one night before Covid patients were moved in the next day. The nurse told us the next day the cameras helped save 2 lives 😊👍👍 thankful for that 🙏

As we were working, pre wiring a building for security ( Burg alarm & cameras) I observed the life of the dog. As there was loud drills going, hammering, guys yelling, the dog sleeps peacefully on concrete. Got it made: doesn’t have to work, free meals, and can amazingly sleep with any kinda noise around him 😄😅👍

We just became a partner with Verkada, IP Cameras. Will have more info later, but briefly these cameras plug strat into your internet switch, no other equipment needed, great phone app for remote view , easy functionality, as well as pc views. Recording is stored on the camera, but also backed up on their server. Recording storage is possible up to 365 days. Just ran into a IT tech who works in Clay county cities schools; found out he had Verkada cameras installed there and loves it 👍

Worked in a church today that was built in the early 1800’s.
Back then they made some things with curves, amazing. Wonder how many sermons were preached out of that pulpit?

My dad gave me this advice a long time ago when I moved into my first apartment. He even came out and changed the screws for me as soon as I moved in. Someone else recently posted about it and I thought I would share!

A good home security tip that you may have never thought about.... Most contractors install the plates with the supplied screws which are only a half inch long and come out with one kick by a burglar. He installed 4 inch screws in their place that go through the door frame and into the framing of the house. They can kick for a long time before they get tired! You can see in the picture the screw in his hand is the screw supplied with the door hardware. Making a burglar make a bunch of noise and be foiled in their initial plan can not only give you time to arm yourself but they will most likely move on to an easier target.

Getting a quote together for some Christians at Lineville Baptist Church. This church was around in the 1800’s as you see one of my pics. The big columns
were installed in 1915, according to a deacon there. Some great architecture and church history still standing today in clay county, as the Bible still stands as the word of God, Thy word is true from the beginning. 😉

During the covid lock down, one of the few jobs we did was replace a elevator emergency phone. This is a cell communicator phone with voice and is legal in Alabama to use. A great fit for a building where your wanting to do away with conventional phone lines, cell communications are also more reliable 👍.
