Let’s talk dirty laundry!

What do you do with it while you are on a trip? A pop-up laundry basket or travel laundry bags are ideal.

If you plan on doing laundry while on your vacation it’s even more essential to help you take it to the laundromat. Plus, it’s a great way to store them in your room as well.

Amazon has lots of options but also check out your local store as well. They store easily in your luggage.

Tracking devices for your luggage has become more of a necessity these days.

Check at the Apple AirTag. These little devices can help you find your luggage if lost or stolen. Plus, you can track your luggage to make sure your luggage made it to the plane, ship or train.

I highly recommend looking into some type of tracking device for your luggage.

Memorial Day!

In memory of many, in honor of all. Thank you for your commitment to our country, our freedom & the sacrifices made.

The Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Wall honors all six branches of the military. This and several other memorials are an important part of Go Tuk’n Downtown City tour. Many of their guests love being able to go to this monument to say their respects to those Jacksonville area war heroes.

Today is the day we remember all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Prayers to their families & friends! 🇺🇸

Travel Tip Tuesday: trip insurance is a must in my opinion. I made the mistake of not purchasing it (way before I started selling travel). Long story short, I had to go to the shops medical doctor. For a 30-minute visit & a shot it was over $1,500. And you have to pay for this prior to departing the ship. And my insurance company said it was out of network. So in other words…100% out of pocket. Lesson learned! But trip insurance!

Cancel anytime has the most flexibility as to why you cancelled the trip. Annual plans are also available depending on the cost of your annual trips.

Travel Tip Tuesday!

Global Entry expedites you clearing the immigration process on international flights/trips.

On last years return from Portugal, we ended up waiting in the customs line for over 1.5 hours. The individuals with Global Entry was a 5 minute process & line. So yes, we started the process upon our return from that trip!

It’s a two part process: application online then a face-to-face interview at designated locations. We will post a video of the before/after of our interview we are doing on February 21.

But I highly recommend obtaining global entry for those regularly traveling abroad!
