We are seeking a PART-TIME Bookkeeper with light assistant duties for about 20 to 24 hours a week.
This is an onsite position in our office located in Jamaica Plain.
The successful candidate must know Quickbooks.
We also require the ability to work independently and accurately with great attention to detail, and to work well with others in our small office.
Responsibilities include:
- A/R, producing financial and job cost reports, generating and sending out invoices.
- A/P with job costing, providing cash flow projections, paying bills and taxes.
- Bi-weekly Payroll using PayChex, job costing and maintaining employee records.
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements.
- Light Assistant duties including answering the phone when in the office, checking voicemail and email. Scanning and emailing documents.
- Prepare and maintain Job binders
- The position includes handling the bookkeeping for a 6 unit rental building.
