We are sorry for our lack of posts!! Fall and the start of 2024 has been rough for our family.

We sold off a massive amount of our flock so we could focus on surgery recovery, sickness, and a loss of a very important family member. We are about to finish up that estate.

We have eggs in the incubator, and egg production is on the rise, so watch for the egg fridge to return!!

We are hoping the rest of 2024 will let us get our life back to normal and be able to share our adventures again this year.

Our egg prices are now officially changed to $5 a dozen. We are not thrilled to do this we are going to do it to try cover our prices of feed as we are not covering our costs for the chickens.

This weeks hatch was one of my most successful hatches yet! I had the incubator full with 41 eggs, I successfully hatched out 31 chicks!! 😍

We do have baby chicks we are selling! 🐣

Everyone meet pretty eyes! 😍 She was one of my barn yard mix hatches. We let everyone one else go to a new home besides her, I couldn’t let her go!! ❤️

Tonight we had to apologize to dad for the ”unknown” messes on his tractor when he’s gone. 🤣

We have had our Rhode Island Reds separated out for hatching eggs for a few months now, they got kicked out of their house and back into free range yesterday.

Let’s just say they were not happy, they were window peeping on the baby chicks that took over their house.

The fridge is out and stocked! Our egg flag is down until the wind calms downs a bit more 🙂

Hatching chicks is our favorite thing to do. Tonight we candled our incubator with the kids, and cracked three that we didn’t see signs of life.

The kids thought this was the coolest thing ever to see. We thought we would share with our friends to see!
