Nothing like a beautiful crisp fall morning

Summer at Lake Disharoon means canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and an inflatable water park. Did you know that Lake's Edge is steps away from the swim beach? (tried and tested, you can sip a hot cup of coffee from the porch and see the kids in the lake ☕🤣)

What else to do in Big Canoe? Well, rent a pontoon boat on Lake Petit. Get some fishing done, swim in the lake and check ou the amazing bald eagles nesting. 🦅🛥️

Looking for another awesome hike? With hiking trails starting at the foot of Lake's Edge ,you don't need to go far for a bit of adventure. How about taking yhe trail to lower falls? The 4 mile hike follows Disharoon creek to a lovely waterfall. The trails are well marked as always!

Big Canoe has endless miles of hiking trails of all levels. A personal favorite with small kids is the John Williams trail. It follows a winding creek, has some cute little bridges and best of all many options to make it as short or as long as little legs will require.
