✨Every life is a journey, and each life is unique. We all have a story to tell, and each one contains joy and sorrow. Not all of us will write about them, but each of us has unique experiences worth sharing. Some have a clear sense of direction from early in their lives. Others begin in confusion, not knowing where to go. What follows is the story of how I came to Theosophy. Throughout the journey, which is filled with remarkable experiences and encounters with amazing people, there are pivotal moments which changed me forever. I hope that by telling this story, and reflecting on those moments, you might reflect on your own journey and perhaps gain some insights that will help when it comes to living a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

🌺In 2013, I wanted to create a small press in answer to a very specific task, once which I’m still working on: The compilation of a new book of Godshall family history. We already have one, but it ends in the 1980s. My plan was to update it.

🌺In August 2015, my brother Miles committed su***de. The only way I could manage my grief was to do something, so I started compiling Miles’s articles on martial arts into a book, which was Lady June Press’s first publication.

🌺The press is named for my great-aunt June, who was stabbed to death by her husband in 1959. Family dysfunction connects her deeply with my brother’s death, both such tragic endings.

🌺Since its first publication, Lady June Press has gone on to publish a second book on martial arts by Isaiah Gathings, Sr.—The Fighter Within—as well as two books by my dear friend and poet S.R. Lavin, who passed away a few years ago.

🌺Lady June Press is memory, a homage to the past. There’s more to come. I hope you’ll follow this journey.
