I'm sending out a headshot for an upcoming event, so I thought I'd post this very nice photo by . Sydney Akagi is an excellent photographer and Naaxein weaver. It makes a difference when good artists are practicing their arts and sharing their work. This was a part of a family photo shoot set up by Lily Hope. Fun fact: our first date happened to be 3 days after Valentine’s Day, and about a week after Evan’s birthday. February is thus a delightful run of celebrating this magical guy.
Other fun fact: I wrote a journal entry (notable—I do not journal) on the day we met, saying “not to jinx anything, but also, I think I’ll wanna remember this first date.”
Sharing our lives has been a delightful adventure so far. Love you, Evan. 💙

What I like about Spoken Word is that *you* come in knowing what you know, thinking what you think, feeling what you feel. You come in being you. Then, the air vibrates in a new and unique way, and it changes, just a little, the way you think & see & feel. OK, maybe sometimes it sucks. But at least we have a goal. We're not going to win, but we're not going to lose either. Not as long as we keep playing.
