Conditions today were perfect.
Better clarity then i've seen in months. Four of us made it to the 1.2 and everybody made it back. 😂

Next friday is a paddling event.
We save the parking for them.
Swim on your own somewhere else august 30.
Adult Swim Club will resume September 6th.

Conditions today were perfect. Best visibility we've had in weeks planning on the same tomorrow. I practice SHOW UP COACHING. We are blessed with the most magical location which always seems to be perfect. When coaches and swimmers agree not to get in, It's a powerful learning moment. You can only learn the threshold if you Show Up and approach it with respect and curiosity. Coach Victoria will be on deck tomorrow early. I can't wait to swim with you guys.

She's a swim teacher from Delaware. Now she's Salty. 💙

What is Yoga? Here in Merica, we're only just starting to understand the depth and truth of yoga. Yoga starts with 'Do No Harm' and ends with... One with The Divine. The spiritual path called Yoga offers tools along the way such as move the body and move the breath, just to name a few.

Ideally, we practice asana (postures, body movements) in the air heated by the land of India, the birthplace of Yoga 6000 years ago. We practice using the breath to go into the body for the purpose of spiritual practice.

As a Western girl, I didn't have a spiritual practice growing up. We went to church sometimes, but God did not live in our house. I had to seek, and I did. I found yoga. It was an exercise until it became a spiritual practice. And i highly recommend YTT to anyone trying to heal the spiritual divide within themselves.

As a child, I had swimming. It was meditation from the start. It was a daily practice allowing Grace in an upbringing without practicing aligned with God. In High School, someone would lead the stretching on deck before or after Swim practice. We stretched. We lifted. We swam. But only for faster times, not spiritual gains.

What if we did everything with Grace and higher purpose? What if everything is Yoga?

Salty Yoga Isn't trying to reinvent yoga. We take what we've learned to the water. Westerners are just learning how to listen from the inside. May be all be called to teach so that we can learn. Yoga is the truth. Move the body and touch the soul.
