Aloha KBay family and friends from across social media! As your Facebook is filled with left and right speech let us not forget what makes this Nation and especially our military special! Despite our differences we’ve been known to come together for a common cause. Going into this year we are still facing Covid and the stresses that caused. I’m challenging you during this last week of giving to see if there is a charity you or your team wants to donate too. Just as one vote can make a difference so can one donation! Mahalo and I truly appreciate all those who have donated! This opportunity to be the voice for this Campaign this year has been an honor! However, you that donated are the real stars!

This week the CFC is focused on mental health charities. As it becomes more socially acceptable to seek mental health lots of places are under staffed and under funded. Covid 19 has definitely shined a light on the need for better mental health care. I challenge you to take a look at the different charities for this cause. Appreciate all who have donated and remember, you can donate as a shop or team. Meaning if you rather gather some funds as a group and do a one time donation that’s certainly acceptable! This year has been a truly different year than we have lived through. There are family and friends who have either not worked or their work has been cut in half due to the Pandemic. This time of year is usually about reflection, there is still time for you to give back in some way. You can either donate funds to the CFC or you can even volunteer hours at a local charity. Have you ever wanted to donate specifically to charities in your hometown? With the CFC Giving app just type in your hometown and it will show the local charities in that area. I used Hawaii as the example for this post.

Just like voting makes a difference so does donating especially with the holidays coming up and Covid still being a factor.
