Ho‘omaika‘i and welina mai kākou to our 2024 Summer Marketing Internship cohort! 🥳 From New York to Oregon, this year’s summer interns join our marketing department from a wide variety of schools on both the east and west coast of the continental US.

Nothing says “welcome home” and “welcome to Zippy’s” like a community service day to kick off the summer! Our interns joined our Marketing and Operations Support teams to make genki balls with the non profit group, the Genki Ala Wai Project under the Hawaii Exemplary State Foundation. Infused with EM® bioremediation, 651 genki balls were made by our FCH ‘ohana and 400 were tossed into the Ala Wai Canal in hopes of contributing to the group’s goal of restoring the Ala Wai Canal’s ecosystem to make it swimmable and fishable by 2026.

Mahalo to the hard working volunteers at the Genki Ala Wai Project and aloooooha to our interns, we’re so excited you’re here to join us!
