These pieces are much more than a garment, they are an artwork 100% handmade by Mexican artisan women.
It is a work full of history and culture made by loving and hardworking hands who in this way contribute to the sustenance of their humble homes.

I thought a lot before making this post.
I know that I have been away for months from this project that means so much to me, and to many artisans who are part of it.
Personally, life has given me a new challenge that I am assimilating, getting to know and accepting: rheumatoid arthritis.
There are changes that I am managing in my daily life, treatments that drain my energy, and a little depression when facing a new reality.
I’m fine and I will be! But, I definitely see the marks of this condition, in my house, my project, my work, even in living with my family.
I’m getting organized and taking advantage of the good days to continue doing what I love.
I ask for your patience and to continue sharing both, the posts and the stories to try to focus online marketing rather than in person. I will continue with pop ups but possibly conditional on my health.
I am forever grateful to my beautiful clients/friends that this project has brought into my life.
I’m still here!
Yesterday I share Tzintzun’s story with Spanish students of .
It is imperative to me to educate the consumer about the value of the artisanal work of the different originals communities of Mexico and others originals people.
It is important to know who makes our clothes and have a commitment not just with the people who make them but with our environment as well.
Thank you for the opportunity to share our story I really enjoyed it
Thank you Mattie Rhodes Center and Jenny Mendez for bringing together all those amazing women. It was really inspiring and meaningful for all of us.
Tonight 💃🏻
Be sure to join us this Friday for our first exhibit opening of the year! 🌸🚺🖌

Huipil Amuzgo🌈
