Rebecca Goes to Flagstaff, an art adventure
I’m going by train to Flagstaff to spend a week at the Lowell Observatory painting all along the way.
I’m going to be painting and sketching my way to Flagstaff by train. There, I’ll be staying in the apartment Clyde Tombaugh lived in when he discovered the PLANET Pluto. I’m taking lots of ink and a roll of mural paper, plus sketching stuff and something new, oil pastels. I plan on doing some Inkings of all the new and old telescopes. And — I got lots of black paper for painting the Dark Sky. So, if this sounds exciting, come with me on this page!
