Jasper is a medium pit around 30lbs but he is skinny and we’re working on getting him chunky! He is great with other dogs. Have not cat tested. Absolutely loves balls. He is kennel and house trained. Does fine in the car. Knows how to sit & stay. He is so sweet, wiggly, submissive. He does not know how big he is (which is why I suggest older kids) he will try to lay in your lap and throw his weight around while playing. Jasper was brought in as a stray and is still working on manners and come. He is eager to please, food & toy motivated. Even though he is 2 he is still just a puppy and will take some patience and training. If you have any more questions let me know!

Melissa's Second Chances has an adoption event going on FRIDAY! Jasper is our current foster and a goofy lil boy. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He loves to play with other dogs. And knows when to be more gentle with puppies. Food motivated. Great in a kennel. No accidents so far. A bit timid at first but will be a great dog!

Nala is a 3 year old pitty mix. She is around 55-60lb with a staffy body (short, stocky, wiggly). She is house & kennel trained, food & praise motivated. She can be high energy if you want to play, but also loves to snuggle or go lay down with her toys.

The puppies are close to 8 weeks and will be available for adoption soon! They’re too cute.

When I found out about these babies I was so lucky to have Melissa's Second Chances step up to get them the care they need. Lucky because shelters are overwhelmed right now. Foster. Adopt. Donate. The only thing that seems to quiet my brain anymore is painting. But I tried digital art for the first time recently and am having a lot of fun with it.

I always forget a before pic but the chairs were a yellowed oak before. I used Minwax white stain for the seats & back edge. SW Sincere White paint for the spindles & legs. Customized to match a recently refinished table. One more piece for this collection & we can finally see everything together!
