Inventory management experience is a plus and you should be proficient in excel. Airline Transport Pilot
Type rating in Falcon is preferred, however, we will type the right candidate
Preferred Experience in the Falcon 900 or 2000 but experience in any model of Falcon jet is a bonus
3,000 hours total time
1,000 hours PIC
500 hours Multi-engine
This is not a commutable position. Applicants must live a maximum of 2 hours from MKC

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT - Zettel Gee

As some of you may or may not know, EquityJet's own Zettel Gee, our EquityJet IXD Dispatcher, officially passed her citizenship test and will soon be sworn in as a United States Citizen. The ceremony is March 13th at 8:30am at Johnson County Community College.

Zettel was born and raised in South-Africa and her native language is Afrikaans. Like most, where she grew up did have some english in schools in the area however, she mainly learned the English language from watching TV.

In 2010, Zettel went through a divorce and in order to support herself and her two children, she worked a variety of odd jobs. She worked in a truck shop, gave art classes to younger kids and even worked at a cattle auction! While she was doing all this, she attended beauty school so she could have a more steady form of income.

Eventually, Zettel was able to open her own business in her brother's back yard. He turned his garage into a salon for her and she was able to thrive as by that time, a number of people had come to town due to the construction of a new power plant. She had a number of American women come to her for facials and massages. They were all very kind and they eventually invited her to an American BBQ (they refer to it as a braai) in 2014. It was there where the hostess introduced her to a gentleman named Trevor.

Zettel says he wanted to be up front with Trevor. She told him she was divorced with two kids, but she says, somehow he really pursued her! In 2016, Zettel and Trevor got married and she was able to gain custody of her two children. This allowed them to complete paperwork in order to immigrate to the United States. During that time, Trevor returned to the United States to purchase a home and await the arrival of Zettel and the kids.

In February of 2017, Zettel moved to the United States to what she called, “A big culture shock!” She enrolled in school and obtained her GED in 2018. When she graduated, she was hired by Signature Flight Support where she worked for 5 years. Then came one of the brighter days of her life when she was hired by EquityJet where she says she is “Loving it!”

Zettel then enrolled for her citizenship classes, studied hard and passed her citizenship test. She will be sworn in as a United States Citizen on March 13th at 8:30am at the Johnson County community college and as she stated, "Becoming a proud American!”

Congratulations Zettel! We could not be more proud of you!

For two years is a row, EquityJet has maintained a dispatch reliability rating of 99%. The majority of that credit goes to our maintenance department and their ability to keep our fleet in a constant mission ready status!

A new year may mean it is time for a new view. As we continue to expand our fleet, we need to add another captain to our Falcon 900 fleet. We are based in Kansas City, Missouri, this position is non commutable and you must live within 2 hours of MKC.
