We recently proudly sponsored an Awesome Ambitions fundraising event. Halls dressed each young lady, giving them an experience they will always remember —from selecting the outfits and purses, to modeling them on stage and sharing their Awesome Ambitions with the audience.

Awesome Ambitions was established in 1997 to educate, inspire, and empower 8th to 12th-grade girls in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. All girls are welcome, but our programming is tailored to meet black and brown girls' social, emotional, and cultural needs.

The organization was founded by award-winning journalist Cynthia Newsome of KSHB-TV and co-founded by Angela Curry, a former Kansas City Star columnist.
