2022 vs 2024. Glow up with this beautiful patient! Lower face rejuvenation. We first did fillers in 2022 and only had to do refinement once last year for her chin. Certainly one of my favorites!

Our first dermal filler training was a success! I have designed the course the way I want to learn fillers and anatomy as if it is was my first time to be an injector. Patient safety is a priority to me as an Injector so you’ll pick up pearls that are not only evidence-based but also from my own experience. I am privileged to be chosen as a Revanesse PACE Trainer. When Angelene first approached me, I didn’t say yes right away because I have so many considerations but because I shared her vision and the fact that I have been using Revanesse fillers since 2019 with phenomenal results for my patients, I finally agreed to be the first ever PACE Trainer in Hawaii. This training is different, interactive and fun! I am also thrilled to meet my fellow Injectors around the island, you made this training very memorable for everyone! I look forward to meeting you all again sometime in the future and I hope you use the learnings to better your craft and improve your practice.

Myomodulation or Neuromodulation?
Where there is excessive muscle contraction and/or volume loss related to aging, using HA fillers can influence muscle action and structural support in the affected area (deMaio, 2020)
My beautiful patient here has been getting Tox to neuromodulate her DAO, mentalis and upper rhytids. I suggested that we do HA fillers instead, using the theory stated above, in addition to “reverse-age” lower face. We were both thrilled with the results!

I thought hard about it but I’m now ready to take you all who supported me through the years, to the next level Marie! I am now doing private trainings for Injectors and officially a PACE Trainer! As a long time user of Revanesse Versa and Lips with great results for my patients, the decision to become a PACE trainer made sense. With this exciting news, it will allow access to our local injectors (new and not so new) to have access to safe injection techniques, complication management, and other areas in aesthetics that will help you become safe injectors, surrounded by a supportive community of injectors. And to all my patients, this also means that as an esteemed PACE Trainer, I will have access to more resources, advance trainings, and first hand information on treatments or products that will benefit you.

New product alert: TOPILASE, a topical hyaluronidase approved for under eye filler irregularities (lumpy, Tyndall effect). Tyndall effect is when the light hits the under eye filler and it casts a bluish discoloration, mostly because of superficial placement of fillers or migration (from bottom-up).

Subtle chin and bottom lip filler for this beautiful patient. I added little bit of height, projection and made chin a tad narrower, which for the right patient, can make the face look slimmer. Photos taken at baseline and immediately after.
I only used 1 syringe to achieve this look because patient wanted the most natural looking results as possible. Mission accomplished!
I will be out for summer break from June 22-July 8.

I have to make this video quick because I’ve been getting phone calls from patients, new and established that are experiencing complications from dermal fillers done by other injectors. No one’s job is perfect but what separates a “good” injector from the “better” is the ability to manage complications.
