The expanded story for those of you that dig a good read on the wonders of the internet. 😁…

My husband has said to me many times, "I am so glad you got into oils."

Many of you will remember I originally dove into dōTERRA because of intense fearful feelings after our baby son nearly died. I had been using oils already for several years, but when I did a deep-dive into learning more, I found I really cherished dōTERRA's purification process, their partnering with & supporting farmers around the world that have been growing & harvesting crops for generations, and their sustainability practices.

Fast forward several years later, and seasonal threats a.k.a. plants reproducing. My hubby feels horrible every year around his birthday. Whatever plant is reproducing during that time always brings misery. Back in the day, he would use things you could buy at the grocery store, but they always made him feel extremely drowsy & lethargic. And they would not fully deal with the problem. One of his not so fond memories is sneezing 2-3 times in a row, having a brief break of a minute, and then sneezing 2-3 times in a row again. This happened for 45 minutes in total. He was at work & actually had to put on a charcoal-activated respiratory mask to finish his work! And even then, his eyes would not stop watering.

Today he takes a couple of TriEase capsules. He breaks one open in his teeth to let it release the oil into his mouth, and start to support the sinuses right away. Then he swallows the other capsule with a glass of water. Shortly thereafter, he is back to his regular self.

He sat on the couch at one point, explaining how grateful he was to have these, and that my diligence to learning & helping has been such a blessing to him. And this is part of why I educate people. We all suffer in one way or another, and if I can help lessen the load for someone, that really does fill my heart to overflowing. 🧡

I have a low pain tolerance...which makes no sense because I delivered *both* of my kiddos without meds...that craziness was a miracle. 😁 I cannot even deal with any level of headaches. I gotta nip it, or my day is down the toilet.

This bad boy👇 has been my buddy for the last couple of looong years when I have had many tension headaches. Starts in my shoulders, works up the back of my neck, up the back of my head & wraps around the top of my head. 😣 I just rub this on the back of my neck, and my forehead/temples (avoiding my eyes). Man, I tell ya, it cools down the warmth I am feeling, and soothes the muscles that are tweaked & causing the tension headache.

It is actually officially classified as a {topical analgesic}, fab for backache, headache, cramps, kiddos' growing pains, strains, arthritis, bruises, and sprains. You twist to push up the Deep Blue stick (like you would deodorant) and rub it on. Super easy. 💙

Y'all know essential oils & I have been compadres for so many years, and every time I get a win like this, it just makes life a bit more easy to deal with, and I have to tell people about it. 2020/21 Fatigue....anyone, anyone? Well, I am sure we are all feeling all the feels, and taking one step forward at a time. I think today's DIY essential oil project is fan.freakin.tastic. ✨ Everyone really needs to be able to take time to decompress & let the body handle whatever is going on. The last few months have been a time of making sure to take care of my body, and continuing to nurture my family. And all the while, helping peeps with their oil questions & needs. It really is one of the best things for me, helping people link up with the things that will support their body. ❤

So today's treat: Bath Salt Ornaments! 🛀

So simple, a few ingredients, and well worth it to the body. We all need an Adaptiv bath salt ornament to soak off 2020/21….am I right? 😅

💧 Which oil would you use in your bath salt mix?

Tension. Everyone gets it, and no one digs it.

PastTense has all the goodies in it, well-known for support in soothing tense, tight & frequently-used muscles. I use some fractionated coconut oil & a couple of drops of PastTense, applying it to my neck, shoulders & forehead (careful of the eyes, of course). Also a fab tool for the girlie issues that come calling monthly. Rub on the abdomen with some FCO, done! 💪

The past couple of months have been chock-full of home projects, family fun maximizing our time in the sun, and educating peeps about how easy & economical it is to use essential oils. And throughout all of my physical exertion, I used my PastTense. I use it instead of things that I used to get in the store for soothing of muscles. Many years ago I swapped out loads of things I would buy at the store, for my health-friendly & cost-effective essential oils. Things like shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, house cleaning supplies, lotions, room deodorizers, and supplements for digestive & sleep support....honestly I did so much swapping because I loved seeing how much money I was saving while also leveling-up the health of my family. 🧡

How do you love to use PastTense?

{OnGuard} 💪 A top of the list, most-used oil blend. I dig this cleaner, all the fab cleansing oils in it, all within a handy little concentrate cleaner. ✨ The bottle lasts a good long while since it is a concentrate, works well for my budget-conscious mind. Check out these helpful uses. 👇

Deodorant. We all need an effective one when we have to use one. It had been on my list years ago to find a safe-for-my-body option. So ecstatic when dōTERRA released their deodorant some years ago. 😍 I was even more impressed when it actually worked, and when I legit loved the smell of it. Happy momma dance! 💃 *And* it was a champ with the dreaded stress sweat! 👏👏👏 There is even a version for people that are sensitive to baking soda. 💜

Got sweat. Get dōTERRA deodorant. 💪

✨ DIY ideas! Fill empty fractionated coconut oil bottles with essential oils for your diffuser, and add a pump top, so all you have to do is 1-3 pumps of oil depending on the size of your diffuser.

💧Clean your FCO bottle with dish soap & water. Let dry.
💧FCO bottle holds 115ml = approx 7 bottles of 15ml essential oils.
💧For smaller diffusers, don’t press the pump down all the way to dispense essential oil.
💧The FCO bottle is heavy-duty, oil-safe plastic.
💧This is an easier & faster way to use your diffuser. Life is already challenging, this is easy! 💪

MORE TIPS:
💦 You can fill a 15ml bottle with your own blends for your diffuser too. I use an empty bottle of OnGuard or Breathe to mix in equal parts of those same 2 oils. We diffuse OnGuard & Breathe every night, so all I have to do is add about 6 drops of my blend into my diffuser & add water from a carafe I keep nearby.

💦 You can use the FCO bottle method for a mix with the FCO too. If you apply a certain oil often, just pre-mix it. For example: add one whole 15ml bottle of AromaTouch or PastTense or Adaptiv to your FCO bottle that is already 3/4 of the way full with FCO. You can change the proportions based on the strength of the oil you need. Then when you need to rub your mix on an area of concern, just dispense a bit into your hand & apply it.

This is my Chill protocol. Today has me all 😬😳😩. Frustrating to say the least, to have to deal with the feels. 😑

*But* I used my Chill protocol, and now I am 😌😊

💧💧 Lavender on my tongue & follow with a glass of water.
💧💧 Balance in my palm
💧💧 Adaptiv in my palm

🖐🤚 Rub hands together, rub oils on the back of my neck, behind my ears & on my forehead.

🤲 Cup hands over my nose & slowly, gently inhale the aroma of the oils.

The Good Stuff. 🌟

{Salt & Self-Care} with this fab salt scrub. Winters are a wee bit harsh on the skin, and this past year of stressors...well our skin can use some nurturing. 🥰

Balance & Wild Orange have been my pure-fume oils for years, I layer these oils on my wrists before I leave the house. Yummy smelling & supports all the happy & calm feels. 🧡

We ditched dryer sheets many years ago, and if you haven't yet, not to worry, we are all doing our best with the knowledge we have available to us in this moment. ☺ This is an easy swap for dryer sheets, and it uses wool from cute sheep! 🐑 Bonus~ we can use oils to add scent to our laundry. 💦🌿

Could be exercise, could be moving from one house to another, could be spring cleaning, could be remodeling or revamping part of your home. Physical activity happens, and in that we need to support our muscles & body systems (pssst...also stop by your chiropractor to make sure your central nervous system is functioning optimally as well). ☺

What a cute idea! Fun for adult craft day, and totally a hit with the kiddos too! Sunshine & the scent of Wild Orange wafting through my vehicle....the good stuff.☀🧡

This toothpaste really is my fav toothpaste ever. I love dōTERRA for so many reasons, and this is one of them. The toothpaste that does not burn the flesh off of my mouth & does not have toxic synthetic ingredients. And side bonus, my husband loves it too. He admitted that for years he has hated toothpaste, apparently for the same reasons I hated it, but we used toothpaste anyways to keep our fresh breath & avoid cavities. 😄

Other bonus??? We get a dose of OnGuard to support our immune systems & combat the microbes in our mouths every time we use it. And also....I am a gal who loves her treat of coffee. ☕️ But a side thing of that is how coffee can affect the look of your teeth. I am not a fan. But!
