A neighbor had a request for sticky buns. Second request? Make them extra sticky. If these buns were any stickier, they would be convicted of 34 felonies.

Introducing the DaRib • I made ribs for the first time this weekend and thought a fun leftover dinner would be my take on the McRib. Pepperjack cheese, Kaiser roll drizzled with homemade BBQ sauce (made by .rosalina)

The year of the sandwich • This year my goal is to not only try new sauces, condiments and spreads. But to make a homemade version of them. Enter a ridiculous amount of sandwich buns/rolls. Pictured: Challah rolls, hamburger buns and Dutch Crunch rolls. Favorite condiment so far: Habanero honey mustard. Any suggestions?

Dutch Crunch Rolls • One of the softest yet crunchiest breads I’ve ever made. Side: chickpea and quinoa bowl with red pepper sauce. 10/10. Will bake again.
Overnight Baguettes
2024 is off to a wild start. Just been quietly baking bread and getting married.
Bakes for include mini challah (), cracked corn loaves and Anonymous Focaccia (both recipes are from ), Stirato rolls, cheddar and chive scones (with gravy) and upgraded pizza rolls (based off of ’s Gruyère-Stuffed Crusty Loaves).
New Year and New Bakes. Including ’s Anonymous Focaccia (my fiancé says is my best focaccia to date), Pizza Rolls using ’s Gruyère-Stuffed Crusty Loaves as the base. Plus, and oldie but goodie, cheddar chive scones but with a twist: homemade sausage gravy. I may love scones and gravy more than biscuits and gravy. Yeah…I said it.

These are cherry pop tarts based on ’s Tasty Toaster Tarts. Filling is cherry filling sweetened with brown sugar and topped with frosting.

Danish? More like Damnish. Our take on ’s Cocktail Danish. Peanut butter whiskey pudding on orange hinted brioche with a peanut streusel topping and peanut butter whiskey glaze.
A Tail of Two Buns • Made hot dog buns for dinner last night. Tonight I made gluten free hot dog buns as a special request. That was an experience (see slides 2 and 3 for proof). Shaping is my weakness when it comes to bread. Especially rolling even strands. Gluten-free definitely pushes my limits 😂
This one is for everyone asking me to send noods. Homemade Pasta + Homemade sauce = Lasagna. Pasta recipe based on ’s Fresh Pasta recipe (I just added Italian seasoning and an extra pinch of love).
Big baking week. I’ve been trying to perfect my version of Publix’s Italian 5 Grain bread and it’s a work in progress. I’ve also made Italian rolls for friends and discovered my new favorite pasta recipe from using ’s Hard Red Whole Wheat Flour. Oh and dessert featured a try at gingerbread chocolate chip cookies.
Sourdough Biscuits and Gravy • The best gravy I’ve made to date. I used recipe for the sourdough biscuits. Quick and easy. Although, I didn’t get as much of a rise out of them as I expected to. I think it’s going to take some trial and error, but a great start.
London broil steak sandwiches • medium rare steak drizzled with the best sauce know to man (according to ya boy) Peruvian green sauce (made with jalapeños, cilantro, greek yogurt and Mayo) on the best Bolillo rolls I’ve made to date.
Day of Bread • Featuring French-style Country Bread, Challah (with a cinnamon sugar topping) and Savory Corn Griddle Cakes.
Dialing in these Cracked Corn Rolls. After spending most of my childhood and early adult life avoiding grits, I discovered there’s a reason they are a staple in every diner and brunch spot. There’s also a reason you should consider using them to bolster your breads. Enter these rolls that I have been working on for 9 months. The secret key? The tangzhong method. Light, buttery and soft. Great for dipping, sliders or with a spread of butter and jam. Can’t wait to enter these at the this fall.
