We are sad to announce the recent passing of two 6888th members. Mrs. Romay C. Johnson Davis, the oldest living member at 104, died on June 21st. One day later, on June 22nd, we lost Mrs. Gladys Debman Blount who had just celebrated her 102nd birthday. Our sympathies go out to both families and the entire Six Triple Eight community.

This day is celebrated across America to honor and celebrate
women Veterans and their integration as regular members into the US Armed Services!

In some places it is designated as Women Veterans Day and in other places it is Women Veterans Recognition Day. Whatever they call it where you are, it is a day to honor the service, contributions,
and sacrifices of American Women Veterans.

Thank You, Ladies, for your service, sacrifice, and contributions to our nation’s military! Take this day to celebrate yourself and our sisters-in-arms! We earned it and we deserve to be celebrated!
