I’ve been seeing sprinklers go off all week and there is no need for that. Turn your sprinkler systems off. We’ve had enough rain the last few weeks that your yard does not need it. With more heavy rain tomorrow you may not need to turn your sprinklers on till mid june.

Yesterday’s rain dropped quite a bit on already saturated grounds. We will not be mowing today. We definitely don’t want to tear up your lawns with ruts or getting stuck. We’ll attempt our Monday route tomorrow and Tuesday’s route Wednesday. Finishing up Thursday or Friday, weather pending of course. Hope y’all have a great week and thank you for your patience.

Couple out in Florence reached out a few weeks ago and needed an overhaul on their landscaping beds. I suck sometimes at getting before pictures but imagine beds overrun with Purple Hearts queens aka wandering Jew plants, crept myrtles needed trimming. So we cleaned all that up thinning out the Purple Hearts for now, added Dallas red lantana, purple trailing lantana, red salvias, and Victoria blue salvia. And of course topped off with fresh black mulch.

Client in belton called last week and said they were putting their house on the market this week and needed some curb appeal. So we went in there, trimmed the shrubs, cleaned up all the leaves, pulled all the weeds, planted two red salvias, two pink salvias, two blue Plumbago, two Mexican heathers, and some zinnias and of course top it off with that fresh black mulch. With over 4 to 6 inches over the last few days we will not be mowing tomorrow so everybody will be pushed back at least a day or two to kind of let things dry out a bit

We ask for everyone’s patience this week and most likely next week as well. We received a good bit of rain in killeen yesterday as we all know. The last thing we want to do is tear up your lawn. The rain is definitely a blessing, just creates a scheduling nightmare. Lol. They’re calling for more starting Wednesday through the weekend

Been a busy 2 days. All beds re mulched with that fresh black mulch, and re vamped a couple beds in the back adding cedar sage, songbird mix columbines, may night salvias, mealy blue sage, a yellow bells sangria, autumn sage, butterfly bushes, and lantanas. Client had a current bed in place already so we just removed a bit under a cubic yard of dirt since it was right at the weep holes of the house. Added a commercial barrier, planted a butterfly Bush Dead Center, 4 crazy blue Russian sages, 2 Scarlet sages, and 2 black-eyed Susans. Topped off with Brazos river rock. Give this bed a couple years, and it will attract all sort of pollinators, and fill this bed in nicely..

Added (8) 15 gallon sea green junipers to this bed today. In the last couple years I’ve redone all of the landscaping in front. Next week we top it all off with fresh black mulch. It’s definitely gonna make everything pop.
