COACHES NEEDED!!!
MOVING TO SoCal
Hello all!
I was recently offered an amazing job in the Newport Beach-Costa Mesa School District in Southern California and I accepted. This was by no means an easy decision, but it is the right one for our new family. While we are very excited to be making this move, we are very sad to be leaving our family and friends and hope that we have many visitors on our new coast (minutes to the beach and Disney Land and an hour from Lego Land lol).
My last day as a psychologist for the Saugerties District will be Wednesday January 20 and I will begin with my new district on Wednesday January 27; Thy and Teagan will follow in late February.
I have had an amazing time being a part of the Mad Dog family and I will miss everyone! I hope the tradition is able to continue!
There is no way I can express how much of all the athletes, coaches and parents have meant to me over the years and I thank you for making our time together so special. I hope everyone is well and I look forward to seeing everyone during our frequent visits home!
Maybe there's something to this here rugby game?

For anyone looking to play some flag rugby over the summer or to introduce someone new to the game:
All high school players are invited to come and play sevens rugby on July 10 and 24 from 6pm to 10 pm at the Plumeri Athletic Complex, corner of McCarty and Frisbie Aves., Albany. Come as a team or we’ll put you on a team. Girls and Boys. There is no cost.
New this year - Younger players will be playing flag rugby. We have several programs playing flag rugby in the area. We are giving them a chance to play other teams. Bring your team or whatever players you have and we’ll play some flag rugby, too.
These evenings are about having fun so everyone please bring your best attitude.

NO PRACTICE TONIGHT!!!
Unfortunately it looks like we have come to the end of the season. Coach availability is becoming a weekly issue and it's not fair to those who are planning their schedule around attending practice. For this reason the SEASON is OFFICIALLY CLOSED
We will be having an end of year get together some time in the near future so please keep your eyes open for a post from coach Elise. (I'm hoping to attend, but my daughter will be dictating my availability for the next several weeks... At least!😊)
7's - while we do not have the numbers to support an independent 7's squad for the girls or boys, We encourage you to attend the 7's events in Albany (listed below in a previous post) and play with other CDYR teams.
Both the USA women's and men's teams just qualified for the 2016 Olympics... This sport is only going to grow! Hit the gym, play some touch, do whatever you can to develop those skills!!!
Alumni... Would love to see some weekly touch happening over the summer!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again soon
