A little post 4th fire work….. My daughter and I LOVE Kimchi and today I decided to make a jug of my own.
In case you don’t know about Kimchi, it is a traditional Korean side dish of fermented vegetables. It has many health benefits including:
• Gut Health
• Immune Heatlh
• Anit-Inflammatory Properties
• Heart Health
• Weight Management
If you haven’t tried Kimchi, give it a go and add a little spice to your life!
Caught this beauty on the thruway Sunday night during a quick sun shower… if you look closely you can see a second rainbow above the first rainbow. 🌈
Just want to give a little shout out to Folk Refillery and Supply.
My kids and I had the pleasure of stopping in this weekend. What a lovely addition to North Front Street! This shop is so warm and inviting. I picked up some organic walnuts, incredibly delicious locally roasted Kenyan coffee, herbal tea, chewable toothpaste tablets for the kiddos (who knew such a thing existed?), and some local apples – coffee not shown because I drank it! The shop owner, Leah, is so welcoming and eager to help. Her passion for this concept is more than evident in her excitement to talk about the sourcing and variety of items offered. If you haven’t stopped in, I definitely recommend checking it out!
Homemade death by chocolate cake, made from scratch by my 9 year old daughter Klara. Because life is not always vegetables and sourdough…

This patient has a history of addiction and PTSD. We are using the NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) protocol, which is a form of auricular acupuncture, to help alleviate her symptoms. The NADA protocol is commonly used to treat behavioral health, addictions, mental health, and emotional trauma. It is frequently used in those undergoing drug and alcohol detoxification treatments and has been shown to successfully control withdrawal symptoms and instill a sense of calm and clear- headedness in patients.
Look at this LOVEly radish I found at the farmers market today…. ❤️💝💕
In honor of my son Edison, sharing this powerful quote that I can strongly relate to….
You may remember this knee from a few weeks ago (swipe to see previous treatment picture). Look at the progress this patient has made in 4 weeks! Thanks to Acupuncture and massage, in conjunction with her physical therapy, the swelling has reduced dramatically, which includes a reduction of the superficial scar tissue, and a significant increase in range of motion. She is scheduled to undergo a procedure under anesthesia to help with range of motion since progress was not where it needed to be initially, but with continued work it is looking like she may be able to avoid this procedure. In addition to massaging all of the surrounding muscle tissue we did some Gua Sha, which is a technique used to bring stagnant blood and fluids to the surface. This technique allows for new blood to flow into the area, thereby reducing inflammation and promoting further healing.
Send me a message to find out how these techniques can benefit you!
Feeling kinked up? Over-contracted? Tight, sore, all of the above…? Suffer no more…
This patient came in with tension and pain in the neck and upper back area with difficulty rotating the head. We did what I like to call the bodywork trifecta – Acupuncture with electric stimulation, cupping, and massage. This treatment helped to break up muscle tension, increase and promote blood flow, and provide necessary relief to the area. Bodywork works!
In case you haven’t seen me in a while and aren’t sure what I look like these days, or what car I am driving, I am posting these true to life pictures drawn by my 5-year old son for reference. You can see I am wearing heels so I am clearly going somewhere fancy….
Either art is not his strong point or I am in need of a makeover and some new wheels…. Probably a little of both!!! 😂
This patient has a history of ulnar nerve entrapment, or cubical tunnel syndrome, causing a tingling sensation into the outer hand and pinky finger. Through acupuncture with electric stimulation and massage, we are able to relieve the compression and irritation of the nerve, resulting in improved mobility and relief of symptoms.
This patient is 3 weeks post-op for a total knee replacement. We are doing acupuncture with stimulation to help with the circulation of fluid build up and blood flow to aid in the healing process. We will end with massage to the surrounding areas including the Quad and IT band to relieve muscle tension and assist with increased mobility.
This woman was due to give birth on March 17th. We are doing acupuncture with points in the sacral area, including electric stimulation, to help induce labor naturally. The acupuncture was followed up with some massage for pre-birthing relaxation and self care!
