It was great to attend the SFA’s Award Gala. A big congrats to all the finalists and winners! What a thoughtfully planned event!

My sister and I attended the North American Olive Oil Association's olive oil trade show held at the Manhattan Penthouse with spectacular views of the city. It was the first trade show we attended and we were thrilled to get our first real taste of the wonderful world of olive oil and to meet the international producers, sommeliers and members of the media who made it such a welcoming experience. Many thanks to Joe Profaci, Executive Director of the NAOOA for the invite!

I am so excited to announce that Flour & Olive’s Almond Olive Oil Cake Mix won the Specialty Food Association’s sofi Gold Award in the Baking Mix category! This is the most coveted award in the specialty food industry and I couldn't be more grateful!
Our Almond Olive Oil Cake Mix was selected by specialty food experts, buyers, and media through a blind tasting contest as the top Baking Mix product in a category that includes baking mixes/pastry doughs, flours and grain, baking inclusions, decorations and toppings, fats and functional ingredients. Products were judged on taste, including flavor, appearance, texture, and aroma, ingredient quality, and innovation. This year, there was only one winner in each of the 49 specialty food categories which makes it especially meaningful. Thank you all for your support - it means so much to me!
