Is manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) right for me? Most of the time, the answer is yes! The lymphatic system is integral in the proper functioning of many other body systems (nervous system, digestive system, reproductive system, etc.). The body is always wanting to right itself if something is off (called homeostasis) and MLD can aid in the process of homeostasis so that the body can work at it's peak ability, in all of it's systems. Over the next couple of weeks, I will make more specific posts about each of these because, well, knowledge is power. Information about the lymphatic system and its importance and the use of MLD to get it in tip-top shape is not common knowledge, though it should and hopefully one day will be.
