I took this Valentine’s Day off from baking, except for one special customer, to focus on the people who I LOVE the most and wanted to shower with small gifts!

My favorite time of the year is in full swing and I’m so excited for the Christmas menu this year. As always, even though this is a set menu, you can always reach out and order your family’s favorite!

Friends, Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away and I’m already dreading the holiday bustle.

I’m doing things a little different this year, in which I will not be making a set menu. Everyone’s family is different so I don’t want to limit it and not be able to help someone check something off their holiday menu to-do list!

If your family is wanting to try something new, I can chat with you about some popular options.

Place your family’s favorite dessert orders by NOVEMBER 17th. Pickups will be November 23rd at the latest.

There’s nothing like baking for the ones you love most. And this little girl is definitely top of the list! Was so honored to bake my girl’s 1st birthday cake. She even loved the edible flowers I grew and used to decorate. 💛

Got to plan an afternoon tea for a baby’s shower yesterday and even though it was 80 degrees, I now wish to make everything in tiny beautiful servings! 😍

Husbands, boyfriends, dads, etc. this is your AHEAD of time warning. You still have plenty of time, but remember how you told yourself that last year? Go ahead and get the treat ordering out of the way!

Ladies, we know you’re already planning the day down to the outfit. Let’s go ahead and get that nudge in as to what you would like, as well as order what he would like!

Whatever stage of planning you’re in, there’s a little less than a month to get your special someone(s) a treat to show them that you LOVE them that day and every day.

I’m so excited to expand the menu this year to try my hand at some fancier treats —I’m looking at you macarrones— while still trying to make sure that everyone gets their favorite treats on the menu. As always, if your person’s treat isn’t on the list please message me and we can create a custom order.

I didn’t actually go anywhere, just been a busy little bee. But now that it is fall I am ready to get back to baking all the heart warming treats.

Any guesses as to what this four tier cake turned into?

First market of the summer!! So excited to be back and baking. I’m at a private market today but will definitely set aside a treat for ya if you want one. ☺️

I had the privilege of spoiling some of my favorite moms this weekend with some homemade treats, but I think my favorite one was for an unsuspecting mother that was facing today with a loss. She’s a young woman who is now the mom to an angel baby. After hearing about her loss, I fixed up a little Mother’s Day treat for her and delivered.

It dawned on me that this is why I started this business. To bring a tiny drop of sunshine on a very cloudy day. And I owe it all to these two ladies. I’ve had two of the best examples of the godliest, most hospitable women in the entire world. I’ve watched them pour out love to family, friends, neighbors and strangers in so many ways growing up. I just hope that I can be half the mothers they are one day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers. Mothers of their babies, someone else’s babies, angel babies, bonus babies, student babies, animal babies, and any other form of motherhood you can think of. Any and every form should be celebrated for any woman who steps into that role. Because it’s true, “ain’t no hood like motherhood”. 💛
