I really deserve a vacation! decisions decisions

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting our very first "Cinema in the Cemetery" event! We did a showing of The Crow for it's 30th Anniversary at the Historic Old Gray Cemetery in Knoxville with our Final Girls Group! We are so proud of the success of this event, as it is the first of it's kind in Old Gray! We look forward to hosting many more events like this in the future! Nosferatu - December 25 🖤

Robert Eggers has cemented himself as the master of modern-day atmospheric horror film with films like 2015's The Witch and 2019's The Lighthouse. The director's 2024 release is a project nearly ten years in the making, as remaking the classic vampire film Nosferatu has been a dream of the filmmaker. Christmas of 2024 is currently set as the release date for what could be Eggers' masterpiece.

In addition to the praise we have already heaped on Eggers, the cast of the film has us just as excited. Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, and Willem Dafoe are set to star in the film, with Bill Skarsgård playing the iconic Count Orlok. If Skarsgård's transformation into Pennywise the Clown in It is anything to go off of, then his take on the iconic vampire is sure to be haunting.

I know it was so hot outside, but I can't express how much gratitude I have to all of these amazing people who took time out of their day yesterday to represent our group and what we stand for at the Tennessee Smokies!
