I’m quite certain that Pickleball will be an Olympic sport next time around. If I start my training regiment now I think I’ll make the team. I did mention the Senior Olympics right 🤷🏻‍♀️

This year’s favorite sunflower- Crimson Sunset🌻🌻🌻The storms this week were not kind to them, but this variety survived. My heart goes out to those who are depending on an income from their sunflower fields in our area❤️

Thoughts for Thursday-

In life, I learned that not everyone who says they'll listen is a friend. I learned that not everyone who stands beside you wants to be there, so I started to keep things to myself—my sentiments, my secrets, my dreams. I built a wall between me and the rest of the world, not just for my benefit but also for others.
But if there's one good thing I learned, it's that building a wall around you lets you meet the best people. Because if someone genuinely wants to know you, walls won't matter. Not even the tallest and the strongest ones. If a person wants to know you and seeks a place in your life, all walls will crumble, and they'll do anything to be by your side. The others? They'll just back out. That's why I'm grateful I learned to build invisible walls around me. It may have prevented me from having more people around, but I know that the ones I have will stay with me until the end. I can live with that.

Camp Greenville. If you know, you know. Having kids that went to Catholic school, this was a right of passage. And there’s this…. Pretty Place. A place for introspection, discernment, enlightenment, soul searching, peace and clarity. I’ve experienced all of those at different times, but this was my first time there as a wedding photographer. How magical that these two camp counselors chose here to say “let’s do this”.
