Parker Frederickson Racing

Unfortunately, Parkers Smackdown run has come to an end. His steering gear blew apart last night during the heat race - spraying power steering fluid all over the cockpit & Parker. Without a back up and with the motor not running properly, he has opted to get the motor figured out and the steering gear sent off to get fixed.

23 cars signed in! This put Parker starting on the pole of heat one. Taking the green the car loaded up and died going into 1, unfortunately causing a wreck - definitely unintentionally! After going to the work area he restarted 7th in the heat and finished 5th, but not before busting an oil line 🫠 started 13th in the feature and ended up 8th. Not too bad for a sick driver 😅

37 cars, was 5th quick over all. Went 3➡️2 in the heat. Redrew a 9 and while lining up for the feature the he realized he was having brake issues, thankfully he noticed it before they went green. 🫠Ran a lap and pulled off. Onto the next one!

We were really hoping to make it out to race at Kokomo tonight but our engine is still not back from the engine builder. Hopefully we'll be back out soon! We hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July! 🏁

Eventful night at Kokomo! Went 6➡️3 in the heat! Started 9th in the feature and the ground wire snapped ending the night only a few laps in! Big thank you to Bryar for letting Parker run his equipment!

Surprise! Parker is running the 21s tonight at Kokomo Speedway! 32 cars signed in!

Changed the power steering pump between the heat race and the feature, hoping to fix the issue. He ran 5th until about half way before getting too tired of fighting the steering gear and went off the top slowing to a stop. He pulled off shortly after that. He said he was confident that they had a top 3 car had he not been fighting the steering gear. Big thank you to Bryar for putting Parker in his car last night!

Hello everyone! We don't have a schedule to release yet, due to waiting on a few more tracks to release theirs, we wanted to make a post regarding the upcoming season! Parker is planning to race closer to home in 2024, which might mean a more limited schedule. However, this is wonderful news for our local sponsors, as well as our friends and family and close to home fans!

Went 4th quick out of 21 cars last night. Car felt really good and was set to start 3rd in the heat race. Took the green and heard metal grinding and the brake pedal went to the floor. Came to a stop to find the brake caliper wedged between the seat and frame and the rotor snapped. Went to work to get the car drivable without rear brakes, to go out and lose the fuel cap. Poor guy was drenched in methanol. Can't thank Michael Clark enough for the opportunity! We look forward to working with him in the future! 🏁
