Too often do we look back and see that the only proof of our lives are the memories of our past.
Hello Friends!
MY! It has been a rather long while since I have last popped on here to let you know what's been going on!
I decided to take charge and homeschool my 2 oldest boys, I have temporarily ceased my freeze-dried candy business to spend more time teaching my boys and enjoying time with them.
In the midst of that, I jumped into another Scouting position and am now my son's cub scout leader. I am always ever so busy these days with planning fun trips, teaching, and getting into the outdoors. While I am doing all this, I find time to do things I enjoy too, such as taking pictures!
I got to enjoy taking pictures of these two awesome families. Maternity, family, and home-school pictures are in the books.
Message me to get you in next!
January 2nd is National Personal Trainer Awareness Day, so say thank you to a personal trainer for their commitment to making others be their best selves.πͺπ¦΅
Now that the cats out of the bag, how cute is this family?! Can you tell they are all excited about their newest member joining? So much love and fun to be had.
The lighting was π₯perfectπ₯ in this session.
Excited about our future maternity shootπ€°. I can't wait to see how little Odin will fall into his big brother spot!
This year, I will be attempting to take a photo every day and posting it for National "Something" day.
January 1st is National Bloody Mary Day! This gal was a hoot to talk toπ
This sweet homecoming was blissful. So much love, excitement, curiosity, and contentment are seen in these photos. Nothing short of perfect. It is hard to miss someone for so long and there is so much excitement and anticipation leading up to the homecoming. I am so happy to have witnessed and captured such a special time that will stay with them forever.
What people outside the military community don't know is that these families are missing a piece of themselves every time their spouse, son, daughter, father, or mother leaves for deployment. It doesn't matter whether they are somewhere dangerous or not, they are still gone for 6+ months and have to assume the household role of that deployed soldier. When they anxiously await their arrival, there are so many thoughts that run through their heads, and sometimes reintegration is difficult because they're finding their place within the household again.
These people are resilient and strong in the military life they live. Leaving someone is one of the most difficult things to do and staying behind waiting for their return is a serious struggle, but seeing these families together again makes it all worth the tears they didn't show to anyone.
Reminiscing about the times at Fort Belvoir, VA. I love my clients!

It has come..Premie Awareness Month. A time when those mothers and fathers watched over their carefully cared for baby/babies with tear-filled eyes unknowing of how strong they were going to become. While talking with these families, I saw how much they and their children had grown. These children were so tiny, they could fit into a Christmas stocking. It is amazing to see how much these little miracles have grown. π
When I posted about getting volunteers for this photoshoot, I received MANY comments. Unfortunately, I was unable to get them all photographed since the intended session was last weekend and it was raining all day and this last Saturday was a bit freezing.
These types of sessions will continue in the future, so stay tuned for what's in store!
Black Friday sale is coming up! Stay tuned Clarksville area for the announcement next Monday!

I did our family photos over the weekend and MAN was it chilly, but these boys toughed it out and we made this happen. I sure have some spunky children lol
**Not showing a family photo since that'll be on our Christmas cards**
Which style do you prefer?
Team A for natural colors
Team B for Autumn colors
Hit the Golden Hour right on time. This family was absolutely perfect with everything down to their outfits. Did I also mention they're my neighbors!
This was a thank-you shoot from when I was in labor and had my youngest. They watched over my older 2 and are the best neighbors one could ask for. As you can tell, these sweet faces are paralleled with their personalities.
This was a dream session for me. I hardly had to work to get that perfect shot. Thankful that we were able to squeeze it in yesterday because today is gloomy and raining (which we definitely needed!)
Stay tuned for available gift certificates for the holidays!

Good Luck!
Happiness is what we strive to obtain throughout our lives. What better way to pursue that journey than with your sibling!
Happiness for me is being with my boys, photography, hiking, driving aimlessly on some back road, and gardening. I have more than one just in case one can't be achieved.
These two were absolutely amazing. Their fun-loving personalities made my heart so happy!
I can't wait to do their family photos in the future!
There's something about being yourself that makes everyone gravitate toward you. Silly as can be and such a joy to photograph. This kid was a blast and wasn't afraid to show me how bright his personality can show through!π·π
My favorite time of the year! I love the changing colors of the trees. But I especially love it when it rains. The crisp fresh air revives my soul... AND I don't have terrible allergies like I do in the Spring and Summer. π
What's your favorite season?
Family can be like a tornado of memoriesπͺ; filled with times that are chaotic, adventurous, silly, and fun, but what is seen throughout the years without fail is the love that's shown to those who matter the most.
The saying "a picture is worth a thousand words" definitely rings true. To everyone else, these are just family pictures, but for this family, they will always be able to look back and remember this point in their life; how much they filled their pockets with memories from this evening.
I pray you take the time out of your day to schedule memories with those you love whether that be through getting photos doneπ·, baking something yummyπ₯§, or going on an adventureπ΄.
Today we had the honor to place flags in front of Soldiers' headstones at the Greenwood Cemetery.
In this household we know what Memorial Day truly is about.
Hello Photo Happy Friends! VERY long time no talk!
I am due with my 3rd baby boy very soon and figured I would update some fun facts about the life of me and my household!
We have moved from Texas to Tennessee in January and have successfully transitioned all of the chaos to this home, which is totally fineπ
...I am totally fine.
My kiddos kick off summer break tomorrow and they couldn't be more excited to be lazily lounging around the house! My garden is thriving (for now) and consists of beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, and squash.
I have not yet decided if I will be opening up my photography business here in middle Tennessee, but if I do, I may hold a few sporadic sessions here and there.
Updates will be more often because I miss photographing and will be forcing myself to take more!
