You may have been in a restaurant, fair, festival, bar, church, a family gathering, or just strolling through a mall. Or, maybe you were just taking a ride in a car with friends, family, or loved ones. One thing that was always present was music. Music in some ways has defined us all, and most of us can’t remember a life without it. Music has a way to tell a story. It reaches deep inside of us all and pulls out intense emotions. For me, it was the first time I heard my Dad play a guitar and sing. I remember the swell of emotions that it created, and to this day, it still moves me. But, one thing I don’t remember was a world with no music at all.
COVID19 is now our world and will forever represent the time the music stopped. This pandemic has impacted so many lives and industries. Especially the music industry. Many concerts have been postponed, canceled, and a lot of people are out of work now.
For example, when you think of the music business you mainly see the singers and musicians in front of the crowds and cameras, but there is so much more to the story you don’t see. Someone must plan a show. Someone must sign a contract and be prepared to spend up to hundreds of thousands of dollars to guarantee an artist what they need. Someone must build what the stage will look like, someone must plan transportation, and someone must load and unload trucks that carry expensive equipment. Someone also must plug in thousands of cords and set up machines like the lights and monitors. Then someone must test it all, and make sure it works right. Someone also must make sure that all the artwork is correct, and the tickets can be purchased and scanned at the door. Security must make sure everyone is safe. Vendors must set up merchandise for people to buy. Promoters must make sure you have insurance and all your volunteers or employees show up. So, as you can see, there are so many people behind the scenes that make music happen. But, one thing remains the same. All these people do this for the love of watching music touch someone’s soul, and for a minute, make someone feel something.
The industry that defines so many people is under attack, and all the people I listed above are now out of work. We must come up with a way to make an impact on some of these artists, crews, and production companies. Therefore Streaming 4 Relief was born. The Brandgineers and Deep South Productions have designed a 3-day virtual music festival to support artists through this tough shutdown of the music industry. This event allows anyone across our nation to enjoy quality music performances from the convenience of their homes. If you want to help this movement go to www.streaming4relief.com, click on the artist page, then select the artist you want to support, and purchase a virtual ticket. 50% of those proceeds will go directly to these artists. We also have one day passes, 3-day passes, and VIP passes. VIP passes include a signed poster, t-shirt and all access DVD. This festival will premiere the weekend of March 27th- the 29th but will remain available to purchase for weeks following the event. The Brandgineers and Deep South Productions are already planning for a 2nd festival to help as many people as possible. Please help us to make sure that the music never stops again.

For artists wanting to get involved with future events please contact us on our website www.streaming4relief.com.
