We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods, assigning drivers to routes, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, excellent communication skills, and a proficiency in computer software used for dispatching.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate pick-up and delivery of goods with clients
- Assign drivers to routes and ensure they meet delivery timelines and safety standards
- Monitor driver performance and provide feedback as needed
- Maintain communication with drivers during their routes to address any issues or changes
- Handle any customer complaints or inquiries regarding delivery status or service
- Utilize computer software to track shipments, update delivery status, and maintain records
- Generate reports on key performance indicators and optimize routing and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing the transportation industry
- Collaborate with other dispatchers and departments to ensure smooth operations
- Provide training to dispatchers and drivers on using computer systems effectively for logistics management

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or transportation is a plus
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in logistics software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Working knowledge of DOT / FMCSA Regulations, as it relates to the commercial trucking industries.

· Working knowledge of OSHA Regulations.

· Knowledgeable in or willingness to develop & learn Hazardous Materials Safety Administration regulations.

· Familiarization with Title 40 Drug & Alcohol Testing regulations

· Must be able to work independently and have well-developed interpersonal skills. Effective verbal, written communication skills are a priority.

· Experience with Insurance Loss Run Reports.

· Experience with Worker’s Compensation claims and resolution.

· Conduct applicable training meetings and perform audit functions.

· Ensure all incidents/accidents are reported to the required Company personnel.

· Perform root cause analysis and insure a corrective action is created and implemented.

· Participate in any investigation or analysis of site safety.

· Some on-call work to be alternated through the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Safety experience in the commercial trucking or related industries

2. OSHA Certification(s) or equivalent, or willingness to obtain.

3. Preferable qualifications:

a. Greater than (2) years of Safety Commercial Trucking experience

b. Two (2) years supervisory experience

c. Human Resources Experience

Dedicated Transportation is in search of a qualified diesel mechanic for a full time position. Please reach out through Facebook if interested.

General job duties include overhaul, repair and maintenance of all mechanical components of heavy commercial and industrial vehicles and trailers. The Diesel Mechanic will work under the direct supervision of an experienced Lead Foreman who outlines procedures, assignments are usually in the form of work orders and/or oral and written instructions. Generally work is performed independently with latitude for determining specific repair methods and diagnosis of defects. An incumbent of this class may be assigned supervision over apprentices or helpers, as required. Rotating Saturday shifts (Mondays off when applicable). CDL not required but preferable.
