I have to share this story with all new construction home buyers. Buyer called this morning to schedule a home inspection. We told him, we could do it this afternoon. They called back and told us that builder would not allow inspection because they did their walkthrough yesterday and inspection had to be done prior to walkthrough. They haven't closed on the home yet but will not be able to do a 3rd party inspection. So please homebuyers read the small print on those builders contracts.
