Please consider helping out this great Louisiana nonprofit company that documents & preserves Louisiana film history!
Movie Poster Archives is facing a crisis as we approach our seventh anniversary. It's been my privilege to serve as executive director since founding our nonprofit in 2016. Many people have contributed to achieving our mission of creating a vast physical and digital repository of movie posters and related film accessories for preservation, research, education, and exhibition.
Our collections contain over three million artifacts but it could all be lost.
For a motley set of reasons, we do not have the financial support so desperately needed to maintain the collection and realize its potential as a global resource. Deadlines are looming that could send us into a doomsday spin. It won't take much to save the Archives.
Thousands of people have enjoyed our exhibits, virtual museum, website, and gallery. If everyone gave $10, about the price of a movie ticket, we would be on solid footing again.
Please go to our website and donate today. Campaign 2023. https://MoviePosterArchives.org/Campaign-2023
In deepest gratitude for your support,
