The Prayer Plant. It gets its common name from the fact that its leaves stay flat during the day and then fold up like praying hands at night.
Getting this one ready for a lovely Aloha Fair dancer we met this summer. She said she will name her “Pule” which means prayer in Hawaiian. Did you know every Giving Green plant is named. Check the back of your tag!

The Pink Quill is full of surprises! The purple blooms pop out of nowhere and last just a couple of days. She loves being misted and doesn’t require much care.

Zamioculcas zamiifolia, ZZ or Zami. What a fun name. This is the perfect plant for anyone who claims to have a “black thumb”. ZZ plants tolerate neglect, are drought tolerant, and accept low-light conditions without throwing a fit.
DM me or visit Plant Haul in Tustin for a ZZ Koke & Foliage Focus fertilizer to help all of your plants live their best life!

When in doubt, add plants!
The Dracaena Malaika is a low maintenance choice. It does well in bright indirect light but can also tolerate low light conditions.

Peace lilies are also called Spaths, White Flags or the White Sails plant. Whatever you call them they are fairly easy to care for. They like a good amount of water but are fairly resilient if you forget. In addition to being beautiful, they can remove harmful toxins from the air. Peace lilies symbolizes peace, prosperity, tranquillity, solitude and purification.
