I can’t BELIEVE it’s been ONE whole year since we opened our doors. We took a big risk going against everything we knew, but this little business gave us so much more than we could have ever imagined.

It gave me back an identity other than mama. It gave our family more financial freedom. It gave us more TIME.

But most importantly, we have gained so many incredible, real, AMAZING friendships! We never thought it was possible to have so many new people come into our life and make such a positive impact. It has been so refreshing and enlightening 🥹

The support we have gotten from the community has been overwhelming and we promise that no matter what, we will keep making fun soapies that are good for us and our planet JUST FOR YOU!

She fought for her life like many others impacted by this disease! So every time we make Amore Anne, we take 20% of the proceeds and donate it to The Cancer Association of Havasu! ☀️🌵💕

After almost one year, we are finally taking a tiny break! Starting in July, our event schedule will be slowing down. You can still find us at the farmers market and other small business events, but expect fewer 🥹

If I’m being honest, our son is growing up a little too fast for me so I need to slow down with him! That’s a part of why we started Suds and Sunsets! I wanted to stay home with our baby while in a strange way, also finding my own identity again. But the biggest part was being able to be home with our little man and soak in every moment 🥹

We will be staying as active as possible on social media to keep you updated with some soapie content! This doesn’t mean our products aren’t available!!! This just means spending some much needed family time and also focusing on some new products! 🤩🫧

We are SO excited to be traveling to Kingman TOMORROW for First Friday and the GRAND REOPENING of Downtown Kingman since the construction has been finished 🚧🦺✌️You’re not going to want to miss this event! So many amazing, small town vendors with products, goods, and services that come from the heart ❤️

We have a couple events that are on the books over the next several weeks! Including a NEW one!

Firstly, we have SUCH a fun night out planned at Shugrue’s where you can SIP, MINGLE, & of course SHOP! and .barebathandbodyco did it again and they just keep getting better and better! Secondly, the one I’m SUPER excited about, First Friday in Downtown Kingman! This one is going to be so exciting because it’s the first First Friday of the season AND the GRAND REOPENING of Downtown Kingman since the construction has been finished ✅ I have had the pleasure of seeing some of the progress and it truly is BEAUTIFUL! We missed our opportunity to plant our very rapidly growing loofah plant outside… So that means she will be growing until the spring in and around our home 😅 Wish us luck! She has grown over 8 ft in just a short 2 months! Told you we’d be bringing something NEW and what better way to kick off the summer now that the heat is here! The River Rat 🌊🌞🌵

This is the bar that’s inspo came from my son’s toys! I loved the colors together and wanted to try my hand at a landscape design incorporating our logo and Cupcake Mountain ⛰️

Now, with that being said, I am not 💯 happy with this bar 😅 But, I’m giving myself grace as I’m learning new techniques and designs!

Fragranced with Marigold and Melon, made with walnut shells, and topped with Himalayan Pink Sea Salt, Dead Sea Salt, and Jojoba gold bursting beads, this bar is creamy, lathery, and moderately exfoliating.

HOLY SMOKES 💨

Say hello to a new edition to our Luxury Line! Holy Smokes is simply made with activated charcoal and topped with a little sprinkle of poppy seeds and jojoba bursting beads just for funsies 🖤🤍

It’s scented with Sage Dalmatian essential oil! It is said that Sage Dalmatian may help strengthen the senses and cognitive mind set. It helps to stimulate and balance the nerves while dispelling tiredness and depression. This oil is also excellent in aiding memory functions and is beneficial for aches, pains, rheumatism and over exercised muscles 💪

I had the priveledge of spending my morning with Karl Kettelhut in Kingman, AZ today! 🌵🌞

We met on March 22nd after I ran into his shop to see if he had just what I was looking for, WHICH HE DID! We got to talking and I mentioned how I make soap for a living. He wanted to see them! Well, the payment for the antiques never went through so today, I went back, paid the man, made a business deal, and most importantly, a friend! ☺️✌️

Oh?! Where do I get my inspiration from you may ask??

Of course I see OUTSTANDING soaps on my feed, and a lot of my inspo starts right there with some of my favorite soap makers! BUT, this new bar coming out came from simply playing with our son! 🥰

We were sitting there in his playroom like any other day and he hands me these two foam blocks. I LOVED the colors… and from there the wheels kept turning! 🌞🌊🌄🌵

Cross your fingers because TONIGHT we are trying something we’ve never done before🤞These will be the BEST launch to our new Luxury Line and to our new life 🤩✌️

People ask me EVERY SINGLE DAY what my favorite soap I’ve ever made is… And the answer is as simple as breastmilk soap 🥰

The thing with human breastmilk is it’s packed with so many beneficial nutrients for both mama and baby AND it’s very challenging to work with. But the end results are all worth it ❤️

I made this custom batch for a very special mommy so in addition to the requested French green clay, I also added red rose petals just for funsies 🤩

Over the last almost year of my soap making journey, I have collected a couple bins of soap scraps! As you know, we are zero waste! We will use, reuse, upcycle, and recycle EVERYTHING in one way or another ♻️🥰 Nothing goes in the trash 🗑️

Whenever I have these scraps, I like to use the hot process method, and they make the best kitchen sink soaps! In my opinion, hot process soaps have a much more “rustic” feel. They are great at cutting through grease and grime while also having a moisturizing effect🫧🧼

These will come “raw” with no packaging making them ready to use!!! Reach-out if you’d like to try some! 🤩 ♻️
