Always a "fun" surprise when your track saw at max depth can't quite make it through the full slab thickness. Luckily in this case, it was an easy fix. Just needed to remove the thickness of the track by rotating it 180 degrees. Saw could then still be guided in a straight line off the back edge of the track. Having the saw ride directly on the wood was just enough to get through the slab. #epoxyrivertable #epoxy #epoxyresin #wood #woodworking #makitatools

Routing out for the flange on the c-channel support bar. This top is relatively thin, so a low profile bracket and only inlaying the flanges.

Slabs are delivered! These salvaged Elm slabs are absolutely beautiful 😍. These are going to look phenomenal when finished.

Top side flattened with the new router jig. Looks like it needs some improvement with those burn marks 🤷‍♂️. Bottom side didn't need much clean up with the jig before the hours of sanding begins 😁. #woodslabs, #epoxy, #rivertable, #woodworking

This piece is through the flatten process and now on to the finishing. SuperMax getting a workout in! Getting those router bit marks out from the flattening.
