Some people have been asking when the 50 year reunion will be. Some need to make hotel and flight arrangements and don't want to wait until the last minute. This was such a wonderful tribute to our local Veterans. Hubby was honored to be among them.

For those of you from or familiar with Lake Ronkonkoma and it's princess legend, Todd Arnett, local carver, carved the princess from the old copper birch tree that had to be cut down. Took quite a few years, but the scaffolding is finally down and we can see her overlooking the lake now. This is in front of Virginia's Flower Cottage.
