PB&J Macarons in honor of back to school!

Anyone that knows me personally knows that robotics was a big part of my daughters' lives when they were younger. It's not something that I knew anything about, and I was very appreciative to all of the other parents that spent their time & energy with the kids. This past year I was able to "pay it forward" with these Barrington High School students. They are an amazing group of kids with a lot of great ideas!
The Chicago Tribune reached out a few weeks ago about their new business, Fresh Cornucopia.

Introducing our newest flavor: MONKEY BUTTER MACARONS!!

I came across monkey butter when I was at a farmer's market in St. Louis with my daughter. I had never heard of it before, but evidently Monkey Butter is a thing! 🐵
It's a banana base with coconut & pineapple mixed in. The perfect summer macaron flavor! Stop by this Sunday, August 4th, and check out the monkey butter macarons!!

New Flavor: GUAVA LEMONADE!

I'm so excited for this flavor! Here's a little story behind it: In 2021 I was visiting my daughter in Southern California, and we were walking around Balboa Park in San Diego. There were little vendors scattered around the walkways selling different foods. We purchased some elote, and a guava lemonade to share. I love lemonade, but had never had guava lemonade, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was SO GOOD! So I went back and bought a second one. My daughter snapped this picture of me (double fi**ed drinker) as you can see, looking so excited for my guava lemonade 😀🍋

After this Sunday, there is a 2 week break for the market (due to the Lakeside Festival) and we will be back on Sunday, July 14th.

Got up early this morning to bake some shells before work (trying to beat the heat!) I love how these turned out!
