We southerners know that this is just "false fall" but the cooler weather has us excited to switch up the fruits on our seasonal salad to something a little more autumnal. Local Asian pears and figs make an appearance this week along with the usual suspects of marinated onions, parmesan, pecans and honey balsamic.

As I continue to tell you more about our upcoming (March 23-30, 2025) trip to Ireland please keep in mind that each one of these adventures is FULLY included in the tour price and itinerary. For this trip you will only need to plan your airfare to and from Dublin and once we embark you can leave everything else up to Richard Gruica, myself, and our local tour guides. Sit back, enjoy the scenery passing by and prepare for whatever the next culinary adventure has in store. ..

Day Four will begins with a visit to a free-range pig farm in the morning, followed by the Foynes Flying Boat Museum, a historic landmark renowned for its role in the early days of transatlantic flights. Here, we'll dive into aviation history and participate in an Irish Coffee Class, originally crafted at this location to warm passengers on their journeys.

Our exploration continues in the afternoon with a visit to a smokehouse of another sort at the Burren Smokehouse. See how the Irish culture of smoking meats both compares and contrasts with our own Southern style as we taste what they have on offer.

Following this, we’ll gather for a comforting meal at a quaint country tavern and microbrewery in a town famous for its matchmaking festival.

Save room for dessert as we visit an artisan chocolate maker who practices the art of "bean to bar" craftsmanship, offering a rich and immersive experience into the world of fine chocolate.

Finally, we’ll arrive in Galway, check into our hotel, and conclude the day with a delightful dinner at a renowned restaurant helmed by one of our favorite chefs, capping off the day with an exceptional dining experience.

Ready to officially join our trip? Click the link in the comments or send me a PM for more info!
