I had the pleasure of going to see Shannon and Matt at Bat City Comic Professionals while in Tampa visiting family. I love these guys. They were so welcoming and had so much advice to and knowledge to give me. I met with Shannon for the first time at NYCC 2023. She held a roundtable on how to get more involved in your community. I got to witness that in person. They truly are truly loved by there community and I hope to do the same at Baby Gorilla Comics when I return. They and I truly have comic shops as a labor of love. Trust me when I say it not for the money. If your ever in the Sarasota Florida area please stop by. I promise you will love them and there shop. You will also walk out smiling from ear to ear. They love what they do and it shows. ❤️

So I'm here in Tampa visiting family and decided to drop by a local comic book store, The Comics Club, Inc. The owners, Dwayne and Dolly, were amazing. I always introduce myself as the owner of Baby Gorilla Comics, and while some people are accepting, others are not. However, Dwayne and Dolly were incredibly kind and welcoming, reflecting the atmosphere of their beautiful comic shop, which was clean, organized, and had an impressive collection of books. If you're ever in Tampa, do yourself a favor and stop by to grab some books and knowledge. You can thank me later.
