The National Constitution Center will honor Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the 34th annual Liberty Medal ceremony at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022. The ceremony will take place at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has served as the president of Ukraine since May 2019. His courageous leadership in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 has won him widespread international praise and awards. The Liberty Medal was established in 1988 to commemorate the bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, the Liberty Medal honors men and women of courage and conviction who strive to secure the blessings of liberty to people around the globe.
