Stuck in a skincare rut? These are the top 6 ways to know you need different skincare.
-The maskne is real! Wearing a mask has created acne you've never had before.
-Expired beauty products. You've had the products for a while, and look at them and question if they are good. YES your skincare products have an experation date!
-Your makeup isn't lasting as long. Your foundation isn't lasting as long as it used to. It even looks caked on over dry/oily skin.
-Non-comedogenic is a word you do not see on your skincare. This means the products do not clog your pores. When products clog your pores it creates acne.
-Your skin is overly dry/oily. Oily skin can be caused from lack of moisture. Overly dry skin can come from not using the right moisturizer, none at all, or using one that strips your natural moisture barrier away.
-Products need to be changed in the winter and summer. When the seasons change, you need to change your skincare.

Let me be honest with you. I'm not perfect and sometimes I do procrastinate. I used to tell myself I will just do it tomorrow. Then tomorrow came and I said the same thing. It created more worry/anxiousness than just doing it.

You’ll never believe what I’m about
to confess. I've revently lost 12 pounds, but it was so hard when first started. I didn't like the feeling of being sweaty and feeling like I wasn't clean. I wanted to quit so bad. Heck, I once tried running a mile straight and stopped 30 seconds in because I couldn't catch my breath. So I would walk the rest of the way and not push myself.

Once I started running more and more everyday. I took little steps to reach my goals. When I did this I felt an internal difference in myself. I was happier, felt more confident, and had more energy. It was a night and day difference.

If you have oily skin, that gives you a pass on moisturizing after you’ve cleansed your face, right? Er…not quite. External factors like pollution, UV rays, and excessive cleansing can damage oily skin’s moisture barrier, causing loss of moisture and an increase in oil production—which could mean you’ll end up looking even shinier if you don’t replace the moisture that’s been lost.
