Dear friends and future guests,

We want to thank you all for your incredible support and patience as we work towards opening our first brick and mortar.

In November last year, I had an unfortunate knee injury that put me on crutches for 4 months. After undergoing surgery in January, the recovery process was going to be long, and I had to make certain decisions that only prioritized/supported myself, my team and current operation at our Allen Neighborhood Accelerator kitchen and food truck during our winter months. In consequence, the brick and mortar was out to the side for a bit.

While we've faced some unexpected setbacks along the way, we do not have an opening date yet but are thrilled to share that the journey of opening our new spot is still moving forward.

We understand many of you are eagerly awaiting the opening of our first brick-and-mortar location, and we are as committed as ever to making this dream a reality.

In the meantime, we invite you to continue supporting us by visiting our accelerator kitchen location and food truck. Come out and grab your favorite dishes and enjoy the same delicious flavors you know and love!!

When I started Tantay, I was hopeful that it was an idea that would be supported by my community. It began with in-home private dinner parties and farmers markets using the incubator kitchen at the Allen Neighborhood Center. I then navigated my way through Covid, and expanded to their accelerator kitchen. Last summer I was able to grow even further with the addition of Michigan’s only Peruvian food truck.

Now, I’m thrilled to be approaching the biggest goal so far. I am so excited to announce that we will soon be moving into our first brick and mortar restaurant…Greater Lansing’s first ever Peruvian Restaurant!

I am grateful for the process, and incredibly thankful to those individuals who have joined me, both in and out of the kitchen. I have learned so much from each and every one of you as I molded Tantay into what it has become.

To my family, friends, and Lansing…thank you for your endless love and support!!!
