I usually don’t redo chairs because they’re a lot of work and at the end it’s still just a chair. But I couldn’t resist these vintage folding chairs yesterday. They were just begging for an update.

Just finished up this console table. Made from 2 swivel chairs bases and a reclaimed piece of wood.

I found this luggage stand and old suitcase and thought they would make a great table.

Look what my friend found for me for free. She even delivered it to me. A little paint and we have a great side table…

I found this chalkboard/white board at goodwill for $5. I stained it and painted chalkboard paint on both sides.

I found this Herman Miller side table at VOA for $6. It was wrapped in tape and I didn’t even realize what it was. I removed the tape and was cleaning it up when I saw the Herman Miller tag! It sells currently on their website for $636. Crazy

Another double project thanks to an old desk. I used the legs for the bench and the top for a table…

One desk, two projects… I used the legs for a console table and the wood for a crate. Not too bad for a $5 voa find.

Just finished an adjustable height, wheeled table with an old drafting table top that has an adjustable parallel bar. I got the parts from VOA…

Adjustable desk with chalkboard top is done. From hospital table to desk, this one might be a keeper. I love having an adjustable surface to work on…

My sister needed a low profile console table for behind her couch and couldn’t find anything pre-made that fit the bill. So she gave me free reign to make her one as long as it fit her dimensions. I found these legs on an old desk at VOA and the top at the restore and made her this… If you are looking for a custom piece of furniture message me.

I found these cool old Jack stands at the restore. I’m thinking of making a bench out of them…

Made a bit of progress on my new hospital table/standing desk. Still have to do final finishes. I’m thinking black chalkboard paint for the top and either white or distressed nickel for the base…

Finished up an old record table I got at a garage sale. It was so dirty when I got it I didn’t even know it had the beautiful inlay on top…

What do you see when you look at this old hospital table base? I see an adjustable desk…
