Andi's Tasty Hints
Andi's Tasty Hints is about having fun with food, making it taste delicious and if you have fussy eaters, helping you overcome their fussiness!
Cooking from the age of 10, I love to help others who don't like to cook, or who need ideas to expand their menus. Cooking for yourself and others is a form of love! Since becoming an Independent Consultant with The Pampered Chef, I have found a wonderful company that offers high quality products and easy recipes. With the cooking shows that my hosts hold, I am able to offer helpful hints and for those who don't cook, easy recipes.
Scary and sad.

To keep food cold we have the Cool and Serve pieces. 2.5qt Cool & Serve Bowl #100091, 1qt Cool & Serve Bowl #100090, Small Square Cool & Serve #2613, Large Square Cool & Serve #2614, and the Rectangular Cool & Serve #100375.

Pampered Chef also has a lovely Wood Salad Bowl & Servers Set #100186, and the Measure, Mix & Pour #100190 for your homemade salad dressings (2 recipes on the bottle).
This was my dinner tonight. Occasionally, I do a meatless meal, and I had all of these wonderful veggies to use!
With salad season quickly approaching, I wanted to share a couple of my favorites. The Measure, Mix, and Pour, #100190 is a great way to make your own salad dressing. There are a couple recipes right on the bottle, the one pictured is the Simple Vinaigrette Dressing, the other recipe is the Simple Creamy Dressing. Also in the picture is the Bar Board(I have 5 of them) #1001 and the new Coated Paring Knife, #100491.

Prepping dinner, baked pork chops with mushrooms. Sliced the mushrooms with the NEW Cup Slicer, #100860, picture on the lower left shows the slicing blades. I can see slicing strawberries and hard boiled eggs with it, too. Baking it in the 2qt. Enameled Cast Iron Baker, #100247. I also used a couple Pantry products on the pork chops, Chipotle Rub, #9880, and Lemon Garlic Rub, #100503.
This is the Stone-Fruit Wedger in action! I had a black plum, worked so well! No mess, although with a juicier fruit the might have been a bit, but it would be in the base, so easily accessible to drink! 😊
Here are some of the newest products from Pampered Chef! All so useful! More about them as the day goes on!
Top to bottom: Spatula Tongs, #100835, Utensil Scrubber, #100751, Cup Slicer, #100860, Coated Paring Knife, #100839, and last but not least, the Stone-Fruit Wedger, #100834.
Today's posts will be about breakfast!
This was my breakfast this morning, a frittata made in the Ceramic Egg Cooker, #1529.
But this is just one of the many uses I have found for this product. I also use it for making oatmeal, baking a single muffin, and preparing a serving of vegetables!
Check out Pampered Chef's NEW Stone Fruit Wedger!

Dinner last night. Homemade coconut shrimp, prepared in the Pampered Chef Deluxe Air Fryer. With homemade dipping sauce. And green and yellow wax beans.
Recipe for the shrimp:
Thaw shrimp completely, rinse and Pat dry.
I mixed about 1c of gluten free all purpose flour with salt, pepper(both grated with the salt and pepper mill from Pampered Chef, garlic powder, and ground red pepper.
Dip the thawed, patted dry shrimp in the flour mixture, then dip in beaten egg(I used 2 eggs), then dip in unsweetened shredded coconut. Place on parchment paper(one specifically for air fryers is available on Amazon), and Air Fry for 12 minutes, turning 1/2 way through.
For the sauce; 1/2 c orange marmalade, a couple dashes of ground red pepper, and a Tablespoon of juice from Banana Pepper Rings. Microwave 30 seconds.
If I had had horseradish, I would have used that instead of the red pepper and the juice.
Late night snack! Red leaf lettuce, a little sweet onion, a peach (from The Peach Truck, yum!), shaved Parmesan, fresh pecans(also from the peach truck), dressing is olive oil and red wine vinegar. Very tasty!!!
This was dinner last night!! I was craving whitefish, and found it fresh caught(Friday), at Whole Foods. The beans were from the DeWitt Farmers market on Tuesday(I bought a lot, I love fresh beans!)
The whitefish was prepared in my Pampeted Chef Deluxe Air Fryer, brushed with coconut oil, and seasoned with freshly ground sea salt and freshly ground pepper. I admit I over cooked it🙄, but it was still delicious!
When I was growing up, my grandpa would always put butter, salt and pepper, and apple cider vinegar on his beans. So, the reason they look a bit over cooked is because I made a small amount of sauce using butter and balsamic vinegar. They were both soo good!
Tasty “new” beverages, coming this summer! Available June 1 through August 31, while supplies last!

It’s been awhile since I made a Broccoli Cauliflower salad. I believe this one is one of the best I have ever made!
Dressing ingredients: Follow your Heart Veganaise, instead of Mayo or salad dressing, and White Balsamic Vinegar. Mix them together, according to your taste, I used about 1/2-3/4 cup of Veganaise, to about 2 tablespoons of vinegar.
Salad ingredients: Broccoli and cauliflower florets, diced sweet onion, roasted and salted cashews, green grapes.

The Calamari Sisters!!! Check out all of the Pampered Chef products in their video. ❤️❤️❤️ I met them at a Pampered Chef Conference years ago! So much fun to see them in this video!
Quinoa stuffed peppers. When I prepared the Quinoa, I mixed some Imagine brand Portobello Mushroom Cream Soup that I had left over from a baked pork chop recipe, with an equal amount of water. While it was cooking , I sautéed chopped onions, portobello mushrooms and carrots, and added chopped tomatoes at the end. Mixed them together, then filled the pepper halves and topped them with Simple Truth plant based non-dairy cheddar style shreds.
It’s soup weather!!! Pampered Chef has the best pot for making soup, and our pantry products add yummy flavor!
I made homemade Chicken Vegetable Soup in our Enameled 6Qt Cast Iron Dutch Oven! It is quickly becoming my favorite pot! The only seasonings I used were our Honey Sriracha seasoning on the chicken, and a couple dashes of Garlic Powder. The flavor is very tasty, not too spicy. 3 bowls later, I wouldn’t change a thing! 😂.
So this is happening now-dehydrating apples-in my Pampered Chef Deluxe Air Fryer! Used my Apple/Peeler/Corer/Slicer (and stand, also from Pampered Chef), to peel, slice and core my apples!
My kitchen smells so good! I did sprinkle them with Pampered Chef’s Korintje Cinnamon, too! (That will be available in November 😊💕)
