We reached over $10,000 of our $15,000 goal!

We had a Jurassic Bark theme with 47 dogs participating.
11 signed up for their pictures in the Dog Gallery.
We also had a $500 donation from our building owner (Village Green).

We are sending out one last plea:
if you would like to help us get closer to our goal, please consider donating so we can help the dogs that require extra medical care or attention to get them ready to be adopted out.
Plus you help with our current fosters along with allowing us to rescue new fosters.

Playing with dogs helps people concentrate and relax, brain recordings show In a study of brain activity, walking a poodle made people more relaxed, brushing the dog improved concentration and playing with her had both effects.

Guard Dog has been a staple of the comic and a message about chained dogs for a very long time, and it was time for him to get his happily ever after.

Under Tully’s close supervision the elves are assembling cookie trays to thank our partner vets, shelters, groomers and supporters.

Little Pebbles is an older shih tzu mix and while we knew she had some mammary tumors before we took her in, we didn't realize how extensive they were! This is a good example of why you should have female dogs spayed!
Before deciding on surgery, we had a CBC and blood chemistry done along with a radiograph to see if she was otherwise healthy and if there was any evidence of metastasis of cancer. All looked really good and she is a social and happy girl who does not act sick -- other than walking a little funny from masses interferring with her legs.
Today she had surgery to have the tumors on her left side removed. In a couple of weeks, she will have the other side done. Then she will still need to be spayed a few weeks later.
If you have an extra $1 or more you would be able to donate, Pebbles and APB would GREATLY appreciate it! Her bills already total close to $1000.
