This line of work is very dangerous for trained professionals and even more dangerous for the untrained.

Double entrepreneur, Dara co-owns two businesses with her husband Mark; WiseMan Tree Experts and LuvCovers Boutique and Image Consulting on the southwest side of Lansing. She’s also a published author of “A Wonderful Change”, the story of her life. She is also a recording artist and has one song out on all digital platforms. That’s not all though. She is also the Director of a non-profit, Covered By Love. Dara was incorporated as a Partner of WiseMan Tree Experts in 2012.
LuvCovers is a new baby, only 3 years old. She was strategic about choosing Feb 14th as her businesses official start date,because it was a gift to herself, for overcoming so many systemic hardships and barriers, and as a proof that she can create an opportunity for herself and others to be successful. The name “LuvCovers” is the umbrella company name that covers “Covered by Love” non-profit, her music, literary work, and image consulting which is a partnership between her boutique and Covered by Love. The image consulting primarily deals with foster children who are entering adulthood to help them discover who they are and what they are capable of. She also works with businesses and nonprofits to cover image and etiquette for job seekers.
Dara really looked up to Joan Johnson Jackson, a community leader, for her heart and compassion for the community. Another pivotal person in Dara’s life was her grandmother, who believed Dara was capable and worthy of anything. She was always accepting, supportive and nurturing, and Dara’s hero.

When you have a great leader, most times you will see that they have a great TEAM!

We certainly appreciate our crew for the hard work and dedication they have put in over the years… our longest standing employee has been with us over 20 years and others upwards of 10 years!

In honor of our leader who started the whole WiseMan Tree Experts operation we would like to salute Mark Mayhoe for his diligence in not just growing the business but growing PEOPLE.

For the past 22 years we’ve watched him lead and SERVE. Even as President of this company he’s shown us that no title is too prestigious for the real work that needs to be done!

You can still catch him jumping to action, helping our crew finish up jobs, responding to requests that don’t fall within the scope of our services just to help someone and even in the community volunteering.

Mark, we pray God’s blessings be upon you. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, in due time your reward will be revealed but until then…WE SALUTE YOU SIR!
