The summer heat is here and we are once again running a gear drive to support individuals facing homelessness in our community.

Starting tomorrow, July 5th, we will be accepting donations of summer essentials at downtown desert yoga from 10 AM - 2 PM, Monday through Friday.

If you have everything you need to stay safe and cool this summer, we encourage you to help build resources and support for others by donating through this gear drive.

At DCW, we are dedicated to environmental wellness. We have hosted and co-hosted a variety of community cleanup events in public spaces such as parks and the banks of the Rio Grande. Our goal is to host many more cleanups. One $500 donation could cover the cost of one of these events.

Desert Community Wellness is currently planning a Kids Summer Wellness Program to take place later this year. Our goal is to offer this program for free to as many children as possible. While we are still determining that capacity, your $250 donation could ensure the sponsorship of one child for the duration of the program. Desert Community Wellness has multiple programs delivering wellness centered extracurricular activities to Las Cruces schools on a weekly basis. One of these programs has been designed specifically for youth facing or transitioning out of houselessness. A donation of $100 could sustain one week of this program's future.
