Another amazing night at FBC Awana! We had 85 clubbers who love to learn about God. Want to know more about Awana? Come see us on Wednesday night at FBC Sonoma - 6pm - 7:30 pm. Love serving the Lord and like to work with children? Stop by and see us. We have lots of places to serve each week!

Are you excited as we are to see your child grow in the Lord? Do you wonder what they do in their large group time? T&T gets their groups excited to learn by using Bible Drill! Love to see those hearts so eager to learn about Christ!

Awana Listener
Over the next few days we are going to spotlight the roles in our club! What is a Listener? LISTENER Hearing children recite God’s Word from memory is a great blessing. Helping them know and understand the verses they hide in their hearts is a powerful ministry opportunity for you. Listeners assist Awana Clubs™ leaders by hearing kids recite verses they’ve studied during the Handbook Time portion. Handbook Time is when children get individual attention from leaders and listeners to complete the handbook sections they worked on during the week. Listeners work directly with a leader, club director or the commander based on the church’s discretion. They should be clear on the church’s handbook standards and uphold those guidelines with patience and grace as they assist children. Listeners also need to be flexible. They can be assigned to work with children of different age groups from week to week depending on the club’s needs.

Why We Volunteer
Calling all volunteers!! We have openings for 3 or more small group leaders, 1-2 large group leaders, games leaders and can also always use volunteers for listeners or as substitutes for when our leaders are sick or need a break. Help make a lasting difference on the next generation!
